"Introduction
to PBL
WORKSHOP LINKS: Twenty-nine medical educators from eight schools in Japan, Korea and Thailand participated in the January 2008 PBL workshop. The five-day "Introduction to PBL" workshop will introduce medical educators to the practice and principles of Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Participants will also share how PBL is used at their own schools and be actively involved in hands-on exercises. The program focuses on several areas:

FACULTY. Faculty from the Office of Medical Education for this workshop will tentatively include Meta Lee, MD, M.S.Ed., Richard Kasuya, M.D., M.S.Ed., Damon Sakai, M.D., Jill Omori, M.D., and Les Tam, Ph.D. They are all actively involved in designing, leading, teaching, assessing, and research within the John A. Burns School of Medicine curriculum.
Registration is limited to 25 medical faculty
Registration Fee: $1,000 USD
